Presenter's Guide

Ticketing

All ticketing for events happening at the Dairy Arts Center must go through the Dairy's Hartman Box Office.

Marketing

The success of events taking place at the Dairy are a priority. Advertising on the Dairy's e-blast, printed calendars, and in-house flat-screens is provided for all confirmed events as part of your ticketing fees. Highly effective, paid advertising on the Dairy's Boedecker Theater cinema screen is available as well.

*Promotional advertising is dependent upon the quality of images provided. Please consult the image specifications and requirements outlined in the Dairy Ticketing Form for details. Promotional images that do not match specifications may not be used for event marketing.

Use of the Dairy Arts Center logo in additional promotional materials is highly encouraged:

Insurance Information

The Dairy Arts Center requires that presenters add the Dairy as an additionally insured on a public liability policy that has $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate. This insurance must be in place before presenters move into the rented space. 
 

Seat Tax

The City of Boulder requires the collection and payment of a 5% admission seat tax for each ticket sold. Collecting and paying this seat tax is the responsibility of presenters. The Dairy Arts Center does not collect or remit this seat tax for presenters. Click here for information on remitting seat tax.

Food and Beverages

We welcome the opportunity to tailor a menu to your event's specific needs and goals. Please contact our Polk Café Manager Sandy Hartgens at shartgens@thedairy.org for details.

 

  • When alcoholic beverage service is included as part of your event, the Dairy Arts Center catering policy allows food service from one of our preferred vendors.
  • No outside alcohol can be brought into the Dairy Arts Center without permission and a special license.
  • Non-Profit organizations can apply for a Special Event Liquor License through the City of Boulder .
All concessions, catering or concessions and/or catering rights are reserved to The Dairy and its assigns. Users may purchase food through the Dairy's Polk Café, use a Dairy approved caterer, or bring in their own licensed caterer for a buyout fee of $300.00. All outside caterers must provide a certificate of liability insurance. All food and beverage details must be worked out with the Polk Café Manager one month in advance of event
