Polk Café Attendant
The Polk Café Attendant is responsible for providing high quality customer service through food and beverage delivery to the renters and patrons of the café.
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist all Dairy patrons.
  • Prepare and serve food and alcohol according to Health department codes. 
  • Check ID’s when serving alcohol to guests.
  • Refresh stock and keep accurate numbers for inventory.
  • Consistently provide friendly guest service and hospitality.
  • Handle all cash, check and credit card transactions; reconcile deposit at end of shift.
  • Keep Café and surrounding area free of trash, garbage and debris. Clean up spills as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to move or lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess basic knowledge of accounting and mathematics.
  • Have an understanding of food and beverage operations and Health Department codes.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and maintain good public relations etiquette.
  • Prioritize tasks and solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • TIPS training preferred, but not required.
