Join Out Boulder County for a night of stand up comedy in honor of Jordan Wieleba, a local comic, trans woman, and powerful soul who was taken from us way too soon just over a year ago. The line up for the night is packed with a stellar lineup of comics who are ready to split your sides and fill the room with laughter to honor Jordan and her massive impact in Colorado and across the country.

She is the current Comedy Works New Faces Champion and a regular at both Comedy Works locations in Denver where she has had the privilege of opening for Leslie Jones, Micheal Che and Josh Blue. Jaye McBride has performed stand-up all over the country, sharing the stage with stars like Aziz Ansari & Jim Norton. In addition to stand-up, Jaye has written, produced and acted in a variety of short films. When not performing on-stage or on-screen Jaye writes “The Comedy Blog” for the Albany’s Times Union and speaks at colleges all across the country with her lecture about being transgender called ‘Trans 102: the Chamber of Secrets”. Having transitioned in 2007, Jaye is uniquely qualified to talk about awkward first dates, strained family relationships and self- acceptance. Make no mistake though, Jaye McBride is not a gimmick or one-trick pony. She is one genuinely funny lady! In the words of Aziz Ansari, "I can see a career for her for sure. She's gifted."

Christie Buchele is a regular comedian at the Denver Comedy Works and co-host of the podcast Empty Girlfriend. She has been featured on Laughs on Fox, and Flophouse on Viceland. She's a little sweet, a little surly and really funny.

Rachel Weeks is a Denver-based comedian and writer from the western suburbs of Chicago. She is a regular performer at Denver’s famous Comedy Works, and placed third in the 2016 New Faces contest. She has appeared on Hidden America with Jonah Ray and the RISK! podcast. She produces the Denver chapter of Chicago storytelling favorite We Still Like You and has been featured on High Plains, Orlando Indie, Crom, and Beast Village comedy festivals. While Rachel has only been a member of the Denver comedy scene a short time—her comedy roots were planted in Des Moines—she has already built a reputation as a strong, young performer to watch.
